   ChiWalking is an entirely new approach to creating health, fitness and well-being through the activity of walking.  ChiWalking blends walking with T'ai chi, the ChiWalking is an entirely new approach to creating health, fitness and well-being through the activity of walking.  ChiWalking blends walking with T'ai chi, the ancient martial art known for creating balance, strength and improved cognition for people of all ages.  ChiWalking will teach you how to tap into that same deep power within your own body...called chi.

   Chi is also known as life force.  It generates movement in the physical world and is that which animates life.  In T'ai chi, your movement originates from your core and moves around your axis, an imaginary line that runs vertically through your body.

   ChiWalking is first and foremost a fitness program that gives you all the benefits that cardio-aerobic conditioning have to offer.  

   ChiWalking makes walking easier on the body and helps improve and eliminate the aches, pains and discomfort of walking incorrectly teaching you how to move from your core muscles while relaxing the rest of your body including your legs.

   ChiWalking teaches you the fundamentals of good walking technique in Five Mindful Steps: Get aligned, engage your core, create balance, make a choice and move forward.  At first, you have to consciously practice all these focuses and exercises; however, over time, they will become a natural part of how you walk.

   ChiWalking practices will create vibrant health, a strong heart, a flexible body and a focused mind.
